Info

We worked with Perth Festival to help light up the East Perth Power Station as part of the 2025 Boorloo Contemporary Program.

We collaborated with three incredible Noongar artists: Allan Yarran, Ilona McGuire, and Daniel Hansen. Working closely with them and the curatorial team, we explored the most impactful ways to translate each artist’s static artworks into large-scale moving images for projection on the 75m facade. We produced over 25 minutes of content working at over 9k to cover the huge canvas. The work was able to make the imposing building seemingly disappear and feel like part of the surrounding landscape, recliaming the site and transporting audiences to another place and time.

Watching the station lit up and reflected across the water, carrying these stories, was something special.
